BACK TO WORK PROGRAMMEA short 5 week course run in the afternoons, offering informal support and ideas to boost confidence following cancer treatments and helping you prepare for the return to work.

YOGAAre you looking to support your wellbeing? Beechwood will be running 6 week courses for anyone affected by cancer starting in January 2017. The continuous practice of yoga helps the body and mind in a holistic way and this supportive class will enable you to create emotional stability and clarity of mind. BEECHWOOD CHOIRLove to sing? Then why not join the Beechwood Choir - for those who have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Come along and enjoy singing with others. Your very welcome - whatever voice you have. The group meets every Tuesday evening.
MINDFUL MEDITATIONA short 5 week course run in the afternoons. To discover and practice mindfulness meditation techniques focusing on senses, body, breath and loving kindness. Teaches to acknowledge yourself in a kindly and non-judgemental way, shows the richness of life right now as it happens, and brings mental, emotional and physiological benefits. Once learned can be used almost anywhere. Please ask your Nurse for further information or referral, or contact Liz at the Centre. COFFEE MORNINGSAll Welcome. Alternate Thursday mornings 10am – 12.00pm

BEREAVEMENT GROUP MEETINGSAn open accessible group for the bereaved. Meetings are held on 1st Tuesday of the month 5pm-7pm and the 3rd Wednesday afternoon of the month 2.30pm-4.30pm. Attendance is flexible and a relaxed supportive environment. Support within the group is understanding and empathic.
