Support for Patients
At Beechwood Cancer Care Centre we are passionate about offering the best care for patients to support their individual needs. This is why we offer an assessment to talk through how clients are feeling and what their current priorities are and provide bespoke programmes, ensuring our care is right for the individual and is tailored to help them cope as best they can.
Following an Assessment patients attend the Centre on Programme between 10.00am and 3.30pm, one day a week, for eight weeks. Half Day Programmes are also available.
I have found everything about the course enjoyable and helpful. Meeting people in a similar situation and swapping stories of illness and treatment, but just as important getting to know and care about each other and have fun together. The one to one sessions and therapy lead nicely on to a leisurely lunch together. Then the relaxation and afternoon chat round off the day perfectly. I know we all go home feeling spoiled, relaxed and warm inside. I wouldn't change a thing
Our Programme is designed to support people dealing with varying stages of their journey through cancer or life limiting illness. Psychological and emotional support forms the basis of the Programme.
