Macmillan Information and Support Service

The Macmillan information and support service at beechwood was developed to compliment and extend the services already offered. It offers a drop in facility at the centre, where patients can come along when they have an information or support need.

The service has also started to develop “outreach” support in local communities, offering support from Brinnington and Central libraries, as well as “inreach” support at Stepping Hill via weekly attendance at the Chemotherapy Unit.
