Family Support Service at Beechwood

Beechwood Family support Service offers confidential counselling and support to all family members where somebody has been diagnosed with a serious illness, or there has been a bereavement. Although there is a particular focus on the needs of children and young people, family members of all ages (including grandparents) are welcome to access this service. You do not need to be referred by a professional – you can contact us directly yourself.
We also offer information, training and personal support for professionals working in education, health and social care settings and in faith communities, who may come into contact with families where there is serious illness or a bereavement.
We would encourage both family members and professionals to contact Beechwood as early on a possible – you may find it helpful just to talk things through in a single session. There is no need for there to be a 'problem' before you feel you can get in touch with us.
