Organising Events
Many of our Friends raise money for Beechwood Cancer Care Centre by organising a variety of events. We always actively promote them and offer our assistance in producing tickets and advertising materials particularly posters. We will always include events in out Beechwood News.
Just to stimulate the old brain cells here are some of the fundraising that have proved successful in the past as well as a few new ideas.

EVENTS CHECKLIST
Is everything booked?
Do all entertainers/caterers etc know where and when?
Have you enough staff on night?
Does all staff know and understand their role?
Have you organised tables, chairs, cloths, crockery, glasses, food, drink, napkins, float, security for money, ticket printing, poster printing, publicity, flowers, lighting, cloakrooms, parking, table plans, plans for stalls, venue decorations, name badges?
Remember to thank all afterwards and give grand total!
Do a post mortem and learn from it.
Plan well ahead for next year.
Make sure speakers/celebrities have clear brief.
Are you sure all items from checklists are dealt with?
If you have delegated tasks check they have been done
Get everyone together early for a briefing
