Why we need your support.

Beechwood - a haven of tranquillity where patients, their carers and their families are empowered to live positively with cancer was opened in 1990, is a North West day centre offering psychological support following a cancer diagnosis or treatment. Individually structured programmes are available for patients, their carers and families and include:

  • Vital one to one talks
  • Complementary therapies
  • Expressive group topics
  • Relaxation and visualisation sessions
  • Advice and education

Our programs are free of charge and are managed by qualified nurses and experienced therapists.

Patients can be referred to Beechwood by ant medical professional assisting them - such as their GP, MacMillan Nurse to name but two. Self-referrals are also accepted

Help us to help more people live positively with cancer, by donations including Gift Aid and legacies.
