Cancer Aid & Listening Line

Beechwood Cancer Care Centre hosts a sister charity which has been supporting people living with cancer for over 20 years in the Greater Manchester area... cancer aid.... and listening line (Charity No 1016053).

These services are managed by experienced staff and provided by trained, experienced volunteers.  It is very important that the service givers are volunteers, people who are giving their time because they really want to and really do care about the people they are supporting.  This does make a difference to the quality of care that is given from the heart.

The organisation has five Home Support branches in, NORTH MANCHESTER (Tel: 0161 205 8446), SOUTH MANCHESTER (Tel: 0161 291 2910, SALFORD (Tel: 0161 743 1555), TRAFFORD (Tel: 0161 747 2452) and STOCKPORT (0161 480 5464) and will take referrals to its free services from anyone.  Calls can be made to any office for helpline support or information during office hours or to the evening helpline between 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on 0161 205 7780.
